PRODUCTION AND PRODUCTION BASE

The production base of the firm is distributed between TPP ”Rousse East” and “Heat supply ”division.

TPP ”Rousse East” is designated for combined production of electric power and heat energy. It was built on stages from 1964 to 1985. Electrical part consists of two 110 MW condense blocks with intermediate reheating and four steam-extraction turbo-generators /2x30 MW and 2x60 MW/. The heating production part comprise 7 boilers, burning imported coal T and TK brand with sulphur quantity /2.0-2.9%/, ash /17-18%/, volatiles /8%/ with resources for generating together with the steam-extraction turbines of 300 Gcal/h /349 MW/ industrial steam and approximately 300 Gcal /h /291 MW/ hot water.

Division “Heat supply” includes transmission and distribution of heat energy for public and residential buildings. The heat transmission net consists of heat pipelines with heat carrier reheated steam and hot water

1. North steam main pipeline /3328 m/ - supplies reheated steam from TPP ”Rousse East “ to the users in the East industrial region of Rousse.

2. North water main pipeline /18569 m/ - supplies heat energy through heat carrier hot water from TPP ”Rousse East” to the users in the East industrial region and the residential part of the town.

3. South steam main pipeline /2962 m/ - supplies reheated steam from TPP ”Rousse East “ to the consumer “Iris“ company.

4. South water main pipeline /4086 m/ - supplies heat energy through carrier hot water from TPP ”Rousse East” to the consumers in the East industrial region and the residential part of the town.

5. Steam pipeline “Zahar Bio” /3002 m/ - supplies reheated steam from TPP ”Rousse East” to the consumer “Zahar Bio” company.

6. West industrial zone /3994 m/ - supplies reheated steam from TPP ”Rousse West” to the consumers in the West industrial region.

Production process
“Toplofikatsia Rousse” JSC uses 4 types of energy resources – coal, water, oil and natural gas for production of the three main products:

- electric power
- steam for industrial technological demands
- hot water

The electric power is transmitted to the Electric grid through electric terminals Puhlevo dere, Baltata Dunav most and Lipnik with voltage of 110 kV

The steam /intermediate pressure/ is produced for technological demands of the industrial enterprises in the town.

The hot water is used for daily wants in the houses, administrative and public buildings.
